Carmel Grills

In the picture it shows the Altec emblems.In his auction though says emblems are missing.What did he sell them separately ? They are the same grills though in the pictures with the emblems and without.

If your selling just grills I think it detracts from the grills when the emblems aren't included.

My dog and small children removed the emblems, rather forcefully, on my Carmels.
I had the cabinets refinished and replaced the grills with Parts Express black light weight cloth.
I cut a sheet of masonite to fit over the curved rails and under the vertical molding. Note the molding is screwed through the baffel board from the inside of the box and holds the grill in. The inside area the masonite was cut away leaving a two inch " ring" that was glued to the cloth. PE sells a 3M spray for this.
The back side masonite ring was sprayed with the 3M glue and the cloth was wrapped around the masonite ring and fastened down . Work the cloth to get it taunt with out sagging or ripples.
